We have been having some really bad weather the past few weeks. Thunderstorms with High Winds and Tornadoes and such. Last night we were going to get hit again with bad Thunderstorms so i knew i would be staying up late with the weather man keeping an eye one what was going on. So i got a pair of plain denim overalls from Old Navy i snagged at a consignment sale for $5 bucks and some bright flower power fabric and some striped fabric and white ribbon and started working on a pair of "Boutique Overalls" for my little girl. I have been meaning to do this for a while now so this was the perfect opportunity to do it. It ended up being quit a bit of fun. And this is what i have done so far. I'm planning on adding a few more things later on....but so far soooo cute! I can't wait for her to wear them. I also made some Burpies for a friend of mine that has a little boy on the way too.
Those are gorgeous!! I wish I could sew like that..what a wonderful talent. I do a little mending, aprons, and cross stiching..lol. You are right..I worked in a children's boutique before we had our little one and those would be a pretty penny there. Too cute!!!
